Scott Schuman, the self-important “fashion photographer” running The Sartorialist, and his longtime girlfriend Garance Dore have decided to split.
In basically identical statements they released today on their respective blogs, the couple said: Once called “one of fashion’s most precious modern-day love stories”, for the past 7 years they were considered the quiet royal couple of fashion and street style blogging.
A native of Indiana, Schuman once worked as a sales associate at the 1980s chain Chess King.
Later he attended Indiana University, graduating with a degree in apparel merchandising and a minor in costume construction.
Both couples have closed comments on their announcements.

The interviewer begins by asking Schuman about his thoughts on Tavi Gevinson, the ever-positive 15-year-old blogger who has recently started her own online magazine.
